| BAMBOO DIDJERIDU: All the bamboo used to craft these Didjeridus is first aged cured in a climate controlled enviroment. This is done to ensure that the bamboo is dried properly and is ready to be transformed into a musical instrument. I carefully hollow out the bamboo with chisels and homemade tools. Tuning the instrument to obtain the appropriate pitch is the next step. I spend a good ammount of time sanding the instrument inside and out and use fire to burn deep, beautiful color into the bamboo. Finishing is a very important step that I also spend extra energy on. I use a high quality resin finish on the inside and outside of the Didjeridu. When the finish is dry and cured it is non toxic and waterproof. The end result is a very beautiful, great sounding and inexpensive Didgeridoo. | |
